Car battery box RM-BTB
The battery box of new energy vehicles is the load-bearing component of the vehicle’s power battery, usually installed under the vehicle body, mainly used to protect the lithium battery from damage in the event of external collision or compression.
The RM-BTB series automotive battery boxes produced by our company are fully equipped with independent stamping equipment and integrated industry forming technology. The materials are aluminum alloy, high-strength steel, and other materials, with dozens of models. They are customized according to the requirements of automotive companies, and their biggest characteristics are lightweight, consistency, and high accuracy. Product Analysis
The battery box is the "skeleton" of the battery pack and an important safety component. The structural system of the battery box mainly consists of the battery pack cover, tray, various metal brackets, end plates, and bolts. It can be seen as the "skeleton" of the battery pack, playing a role in supporting, resisting mechanical impact, mechanical vibration, and environmental protection (waterproof and dustproof).
The lower box of the battery box (i.e. battery tray) bears the weight of the entire battery pack and its own weight, and resists external impacts to protect the battery module and battery cells. It is an important safety structural component for electric vehicles. Due to the fact that the power battery pack accounts for 20% -30% of the vehicle's mass, and the battery box accounts for 20% -30% of the battery pack's mass, lightweight battery boxes are the trend. Under the same size, replacing steel battery boxes with aluminum alloy battery boxes can reduce weight by 20% -30%. Therefore, aluminum alloy material is the mainstream direction of battery boxes. Currently, the upper cover material is mostly high-strength steel and aluminum alloy, and the lower shell is almost entirely aluminum alloy. The trend of lightweight battery boxes is obvious, and aluminum alloy materials are the mainstream market direction.
